You can get even more power from ethanol.
Although the Nissan GT-R has seen better days, it still delivers impressive performance. It’s twin-turbo V6 engine is very responsive to modifications. Want proof? Total Car Concept created a tuned car that produces over 1,600 horsepower on ethanol and about 1,400 horsepower on gasoline. It also hits an unrestricted section on the autobahn in this video.
The GT-R by Total Car Concept looks pretty stocky from the outside. The car is outfitted with a Nismo carbon-fiber body kit. This gives it a more aggressive but subtle appearance. A new part will replace the rear wing, so it is not currently available. The interior has not been altered, except for some carbon fiber trim.
Under the hood is where the real magic happens. Total Car Concept includes parts such as new turbos and cams, custom exhaust, and a heavy-duty intercooler. The massive increase in power can be handled by a strengthened transmission.
The GT-R has a raw sound when it starts, but the car is very quiet on the roads once you turn the accelerator off. In a matter of 3.5 seconds, the car can go from 62 mph (100 km/h) to 124 at 125 mph (200 km/h). A 2020 Nissan GT-R 50th anniversary edition can go from 0-60mph (96 km/h) in just 3.2 seconds.
Although it’s difficult to see the speedometer, this video shows that the car can reach 209 mph (337 km/h) according to AutoTopNL. This clip makes it seem easy to achieve this ridiculous speed.
Although Nissan claims that a new GT-R will be made, it does not appear in the video which shows what the automaker plans to unveil in the next 18 months. The GT-R could be in order to save money, even though it leaves the European market.
