You can see the 2020 Toyota Supra go from 0 to 124 MPH (200 km/h).

Not quick enough? It is being planned to release a hotter version of GRMN.

If you can get past the it’s-not-a-real-Supra controversy, the A90 is a really great car as Motor1.com’s Senior Editor, Jeff Perez, recently discovered during a First Drive. After Car and Driver published a time of 3.8 seconds, which is three tenths faster than the official manufacturer number, the fifth generation of Toyota’s iconic sports coupe was in the news more than usual.

The Motorsport Magazine also had the chance to test the 2020 Toyota GR Supra at 124 mph (200 kph). Although the publication does not provide any information about the car’s performance the task took approximately 16 seconds. The 0-60 mph (96 km/h) sprint time was the same as those released by Toyota.

You should recognize the sound that you hear as the engine revs up to almost 7,000 rpm. It is BMW’s turbocharged, 3.0-liter inline-6. It has been reduced to 335 horsepower (325 kilowatts) 365 pound-feet (495 Newton meters) of torque in the Supra. This is 47 hp (35kW) and 4 Lb-ft (5Nm) lower than the Z4 roadster from the M40i specification.

The six-cylinder Supra (remember, Japan offers a four-banger version) is just beginning as Toyota has confirmed plans for a more powerful GRMN model. Interview with Car Throttle: Tetsuya Taka, chief engineer of the Supra, stated that the A90 would be receiving the Gazoo Racing Masters of Nurburgring treatment.
