Durango SRT, the range-topping Durango SRT that was unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show in February, is expected to run around $70,000. However you can get the aggressive look with the R/T trim. This is the most important news regarding the 2018 model-year change for the three row SUV. The R/T will feature the beefy hood and a functional center air intake duct. Heat extractors are also standard equipment.

Dodge will include the SRT’s lower valence, which houses the cold-air system and the LED fog lights. Durango R/T will also be available in 2018MY with a B5 Blue exterior color, which is also borrowed from its flagship model. The R/T will have a more imposing front fascia. It will also include front parking sensors as part of the standard Park Assist System.

Dodge has refreshed the GT with the same performance hood and optional kit for the new model year. This is in addition to the Dodge R/T. The power liftgate is now standard on all GT models and customers won’t need to pay extra for it.

All Durango models will include a new sport steering and rearview camera as standard.

Dodge will start shipping the vehicles to dealers from the third quarter 2017. Pricing will be announced closer to the time. The 2017 Durango GT starts at $37,495 MSRP, while the R/T starts at $42,095MSRP.

The SRT will top the lineup. It is billed as America’s fastest, most powerful, and most capable three row SUV. Although there is no information on the Durango SRT’s top speed, Dodge promises that it will run the quarter-mile in 12.9 seconds and the 0-60 mph (096 kph).
