Its Italian-sourced heart hides behind its Italian body.
Although the Zagato Iso Rivolta GTZ was unveiled in August, the company did not provide any details or specifications. We saw a strikingly designed coupe, which draws its inspiration from the Iso AC/3. Although the company claimed it would have a Corvette-sourced engine, it did not have the car’s horsepower. The company now confirms that deliveries have started and provides a few details about the model.
That Corvette The supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 6.2-liter V8 is the mill used by this car. It generates 660 horsepower (482 Kilowatts) as well as 649 pound-feet (881 Newton meters) of torque. According to the company, the car can reach speeds of 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.7 seconds and a maximum speed of 195 miles per hour (315 kph). The car’s predecessor used a Chevy-sourced engine to power it. It won its class at 24 Hours of Le Mans 1964 and 1965.
Carbon fiber is used for the bodywork to keep weight under control. It was based on the Zagato Grifo’s racing version, the Iso AC/3. The interior is a small peek at the interior. It shows the heavy bolstered seats and the center console. However, we cannot see the driver’s seat or the instrument cluster. Zagato has only built 19 examples of the GTZ, with nine already ordered. The GTZ’s first shipment is headed to Lucerne, Switzerland. After the Zagato Vision GT which was made for the Gran Turismo game, the GTZ is a pleasant return to form. The car’s cost is something we are not yet aware of. Although the latest information dump from the company does not include it, it is reasonable to assume that it will be expensive considering carbon-fiber bodywork and the limited production run.
