It is based on the Huracan Performance but has forced induction to produce 1,200 horsepower.
Zyrus Engine, a small aftermarket shop based in Norway has been working on Lamborghini Huracan’s performance to the maximum extent. After two years of testing, the LP1200 Strada was completed. The company clocked more than 6,000 km (3,728 miles), on race tracks. It’s not a streetcar, as its name implies. However, you may be tempted to believe that it is restricted to the circuit.
It began as a Huracan LP640-4 Performante. Zyrus then applied his racing experience gained with the Huracan Super Trofeo-based LP1200 in the Scandinavian GT+ Championship. The street-legal version boasts a staggering 1,200 horsepower after a twin-turbo engine conversion of the V10 5.2-liter.
Zyrus has made 600 modifications to the stock Performante in order to create the “ultimate road car that can also be driven like a racecar.” The LP1200 Strada’s maximum potential is unleashed at the touch of a button to activate track mode, while the normal power output remains at 900 hp. The ferocious, raging bull is covered in carbon fiber and looks fast standing still.
Zyrus is asking for EUR595,000 to convert 12 Huracan Performante supercars to the LP1200 Strada specification. Customers will also get a track day so they can learn all about the road-legal race car from the engineers.
