It is expected to debut in 2023.
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class Sedan was refreshed for the 2021 model-year. It has a starting cost of $54,250, plus a $1,050 delivery charge in the United States. It was the fifth generation, and it was unveiled at the 2016 NAIAS Detroit.
Mercedes already sells new S-Class models and C-Class versions. It is likely that the Germans will soon replace the W213 E-Class by a new model. This is likely because we have not seen spy photos of the car, which means that the development is still in its early stages. However, we have an idea of how it might look.
The E-Class’s previous generations have been influenced by the S-Class or the C-Class. These models are often on the market prior to the E-Class. There is no reason to believe that this will change for W213’s successor. A new rendering by Motor.es shows a very predictable design language. Although it may not be based on spy photos, the image you see is likely to give a fairly accurate view of the new E.
This front fascia looks very similar to that of the C-Class. The radiator grille and headlights are almost identical. Combining the slimmer LED clusters with the more sculpted front bumper, the rendering creates a sporty and premium look.
Rumours suggest that the next-generation E-Class will arrive in 2023. It will be lighter, more efficient and more technologically advanced that its predecessor. It will likely be available in both sedan and wagon versions, depending on market demand.
