Nissan NV350 Caravan Mobility Concept combines Vacation Spot and Work Van

Nissan shows its Nissan Prepped for Fishing, Camping, and Surfing.

Modern technology makes it possible to do many jobs with just a phone or computer. This means that anyone can work remotely from anywhere that has internet access. This idea is captured in the Nissan NV350 Caravan ES Mobility Concept, which uses the portmanteau Workation. It’s a mix of “work” & “vacation.” The van could be used for camping, fishing, or surfing, according to the company.

This van is compact in its rear section, allowing for adaptability. A fold-down sleeping area is one of the main features. There is still space beneath the bed for storage after you have it in place. To make space for taller items like a bicycle, you can put half of the section in place.

The van has a roof-mounted storage system that uses crossbars. Images from the company show that this area can hold fishing poles and even a surfboard. The rear hatch has a similar bar at the bottom that can be used to hang an awning or dry clothes.

Although the concept does not have a kitchenette or washroom like an full-on RV it still has handy touches such as a Cellstar DC/AC inverter, which can turn the vehicle’s power into usable power for everyday use. Electronic controls allow the glass to be switched between transparent and translucent at the touch of one button. A UV light is also available in the glovebox to sterilize small items such as a smartphone or wallet.

These modifications are mostly on the interior. This concept features the NV350 with a long body and standard roof. It also uses the low-floor variant of the . The model can be ordered with either a 2.5-liter diesel engine or a 2.0-liter gasoline engine. Nissan upgrades the suspension by adding different shocks or bump stops.
