electric vehicle.
The Leaf was introduced by Nissan in December 2010. The Nissan Leaf was billed as the first mass-market electric car. It has been well received in many parts of the globe. Nissan has unveiled the special edition Leaf10 to celebrate this milestone and reflect on its achievements over the past decade.
The Leaf10 special edition is not only about the past, but also looks to the future with technology and design improvements that will be valued by modern EV buyers.
The Nissan Ariya crossover electric vehicle is the inspiration for the Leaf10. Kumiko patterns are used to decorate the trunk, roofline and wing mirrors. The C-pillar also adds the Leaf10 badge to complete the look. Nissan also spoke of a “new bold color for the Nissan palette,” however, the color was not mentioned in the release or in the press photos.
The new Leaf10 is equipped with Nissan’s flexible in-car Wi Fi hotspot. With the 4G connectivity, internet connection should be easy. You can also host up to seven devices from the Wi-Fi hotspot.
These updates are in addition to Leaf’s already-known features, like the ProPILOT and ePedal technologies.
“Our iconic model attracted more than 180,000 motorists in Europe.” We believe that LEAF will continue to inspire those just beginning their EV journeys with its improved styling features and the latest technologies like In-Car Wi Fi and remote functions such as lock and unlock capabilities to get packages, and can be enhanced by its new technology,” Helen Perry, Chief Marketing Manager for Electric Passenger Cars & Infrastructures at Nissan Europe.
The European showrooms will be able to see the new Nissan Leaf10 this February. As of writing, Nissan has not yet disclosed the availability of the new Leaf10 in the United States.
