What was the last time 22-inch wheels were seen on a Ferrari?
Ferrari purists might argue that modifying a Prancing Horse would be blasphemous. But Novitec has been tuning cars from Maranello for many years with great success. The latest product by the German aftermarket specialist was designed for the HTML8 Tributo. Although it is nearly identical to the original, the supercar’s mid-engined version has undergone some significant modifications.
The OEM wheels were replaced with a larger set by Novitec and Vossen. It measures 21 inches at each end and 22 inches at the rear. These forged wheels come in 72 colors, with the option to select from either a polished or matte surface.
Suspension lowering springs are available to complement the new shoes. They bring the Ferrari closer to the road by approximately 35 millimeters (1.38 in). Novitec has its own version of the front lift system that can be added to cars without the option. It raises the vehicle’s nose by 40mm (1.57 inches). The original settings are restored when the button is pressed again inside the cabin, or automatically when the vehicle exceeds 50 mph (80 km/h).
Novitec also has an exhaust system that allows for fast combustion. Coupe This can be used with either the original exhaust tips or custom exhaust finishers made of stainless steel and carbon fibre. You can have the stainless steel exhaust with or without an electronic sound management system. It will lower the engine bay temperature and provide a more powerful soundtrack.
The twin-turbo, 3.9-liter V8 has been upgraded with 776 horsepower and 882 Newton meters (651 pound-feet), of torque. This is an increase in horsepower and torque of 66 hp (83 lb/ft), which allows for a 0-60 mph (100 km/h), time of just 2.7 seconds, or 0.2s more than the standard model. It will reach 211 mph (340 km/h) flat out.
