In 2.5 seconds, it can reach speeds of up to 62 miles an hour.
The McLaren 675LT continues the legacy of the 675LT while giving the 720S an ethnic-oriented sibling. Although the twin-turbocharged, 4.0-liter engine in the 765LT was more powerful than the 720S’s, it wasn’t sufficient to satisfy Novitec. This German aftermarket tuner is a master at improving supercars made by a variety of manufacturers. The company did its magic with McLaren’s latest supercar.
Novitec offers three tuning stages. The Performance Stage 2 upgrade is the most powerful. The plug-and-play N–Tronic control unit modifies the electronic boost control control and adjusts the ignition and fuel injector to increase the engine’s power to 855 horsepower (629 Kilowatts) or 662 pound-feet (898 Newton meters) of torque. This extra power allows the supercar to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h (62 miles per an hour) in 2.5 seconds, and 200 km/h (124 mph), in 6.5 seconds. The supercar’s top speed is more than 330 km/h (205 mph), which is a little less than the 720S’s 334 kph (221 mph) top speed.
Novitec’s high performance Inconel exhaust enhances the McLaren’s sounds. Customers can also improve their McLaren with 999 fine gold plating. The company designed the LT’s staggered MC3 21-inch forged wheels with Vossen. They are available in 72 colors, in brushed and polished finishes. Novitec sports springs reduce the ride height by 20 millimeters (0.79 in) for cars weighing less than 1,350 kg (2,976 lb).
Novitec combines performance enhancements with a variety of visual enhancements. Many of these are made from naked carbon fiber. Carbon inserts for the headlights and carbon fiber rocker panels are some of the upgraded aerodynamic pieces. Novitec’s interior offers customers a wide range of color options, fine leather and Alcantara.
