That was quick. Peugeot took only a few hours to add its latest addition to the line, the Rifter family friendly van. This is a concept model. The Rifter 4×4 Concept is named this and it’s designed to “explore large spaces” as well as adventures on “all kinds of terrain”.
These aren’t just slogans. The study also includes an all-wheel drive developed in collaboration with Dangel. It has a higher suspension and 80mm more ground clearance. There are three modes for the AWD system. Two of them have front-wheel driving wheels, and four with rear wheels. For drifting, the 4RM mode sends power exclusively to the rear wheels. please? Please?
A set of all-terrain BF Goodrich tires will enhance the look and functionality of the concept. They combine “solidity endurance and style” with “excellent traction.”
The diesel engine that powers the van’s rugged exterior is rated at 130 horsepower (97 kilowatts) as well as 221 pound-feet (300 Newton meters of torque). The engine is coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox, which should stop you from being slowed down by “the most difficult slopes”.
The study’s additional equipment is far more fascinating than its engine. Autohome developed the Rifter 4×4 concept with a roof tent that matches the car’s unique two-tone finish. It is very easy to use. All you have to do is to remove it from the roof bars and then to open the sliding ladder.
The canvas tent will contain a mattress that is covered in the same durable textile fabric as the vehicle’s seat covers. Peugeot claims that it is easy to fold and fits inside the tent. This makes it a “welcoming and relaxing haven”.
