Porsche 911 Targa GTS Spied Hiding Refreshed Interior

It will fit between S and new GT3.

Although it has been a while since we last saw the Porsche 911 Targa GTS in development, these photos show one of them testing it on a snowy road. The body is not camouflaged.

The GTS will be between the S. GT3 There are three grades for the 911. Although exact details are not yet available, it is likely that the 911’s power output will be slightly higher than the S model. This model will include features that are  normally available as options, such as the Sport Chrono Package and Sport Exhaust System. Other performance-focused items will likely be standard.

This GTS is finally equipped with a matching set wheels, in contrast to earlier spy shots. This design is identical to the TurboS, which has five pairs of spokes. They are entirely black in this instance, instead of having a machined face like the previous version.

The spy notices something very interesting about the car. Porsche hides the dashboard behind fabric. This leads to the suspicion that engineers are testing the 992-generation 911. It is difficult to photograph the cabin, so it is easier for Porsche to hide them from prying eyes.

However, the new 911 GTS as well as the refresh for this model won’t be released simultaneously. The 911 lineup will have this sporty model available later in the year.

The refresh for the 992 is still a ways off and is unlikely to be launched in 2021. These updates are usually kept to a minimum. Those who are familiar with the old appearance will often be able to tell the difference. It is possible to make minor power improvements.
