It’s always fun to be a spectator when the 911 Turbo S is in motion.
The 992-generation Porsche 911 TurboS is fast. The car can accelerate from a standstill to speeds of 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.5 seconds and then to speeds of 124 mph (220 km/h), in just 8 seconds. This is not only insane, but it’s also not surprising considering that Porsche’s flagship vehicle is so fast.
We were more impressed by the fact that the 911 Turbo S has smoked many cars in drag races, and even topped its class.
This latest drag race from UK’s Carwow doesn’t belong to that group. We were surprised to see the new 911 Turbo S being the slowest in a three way matchup.
This is because the 911 Turbo S here doesn’t face any regular vehicle. One of them is a Bugatti CHiron-beating championship-winning Red Bull RB7 Formula 1 vehicle that weighs only 650 kilograms (1.433 pounds).
