The Porsche subscription service continues to grow in scope. Subscribers have access to a variety of models at different prices. The all-electric Taycan is now part of this program. The monthly cost is $2,500, but it comes with a heavy monthly bill. We’ll get to this later.
The Porsche Drive Subscription and Rental Program is the name of the service. Base Taycans with rear-wheel drive are the entry models. The Taycan 4S is available at $3,250 per monthly. It is the most expensive model in the service. However, Porsche will let subscribers rent the Taycan4S for $335 per day for three days or $295 for four days. The fleet includes everything, from the 911 up to the Macan.
Porsche will not offer the Taycan 4S as part of its Multi-Vehicle Subscription Plan. This means that if you are interested in EV power, you will need to commit for at least a few months. The rear-wheel-drive Taycan will be available in the multi-car plan. This will allow subscribers to choose between internal-combustion or electricity power. The subscription service is being expanded to include additional cities such as Atlanta, Houston and Phoenix. It also includes a variety of California locations, including Irvine, Los Angeles and San Jose.
The subscription service bundles all operating expenses into one price. This includes all insurance coverage, maintenance, and fuel. Subscribers are responsible for charging fees or fuel. Porsche claims that the subscription cost is approximately 20% higher than a two-year lease.

A convenient digital way to get the Porsche experience.” We have developed a solution that allows people to access the Porsche brand in a shorter time frame and with more flexibility. This was after three years of developing and testing the concept together with our dealers. We are always open to welcoming new friends to our brand and 80 percent of Drive customers are new Porsche customers is proof of that.
