Radwood in Style: Buy These Vintage ’90s Acuras Up for Auction

Did Acura reach its peak in the 1990s? Although not everyone feels that way, there are a few who do. You may recognize the name of that person, as you are either an Acura enthusiast or you remember the wild 1997 Acura Restomod he worked with. You may also have seen his article on the cool and classic Acura commercial. We are also fans, in case you didn’t know.

Now, you have the chance to own one of Hugie’s classic Acuras. You can even take home all three time capsules from 1990, if you don’t mind opening the floodgates financially. Each one is available for bidding through Auto Hunter. These cars are available at no reserve and will be sold to new owners.

1999 Acura 2.3CL Five Speed

This suave coupe has covered 138,700 miles, and looks in very good condition. It is the original 2.3-liter VTEC four-pot and rides on Acura wheels with an original interior. With four days remaining, bidding has reached $3,200 as of March 10th. The auction will close on March 15, but 21 bidders are watching, so expect the price to rise.

1996 Acura 2.5TL

Are you looking for a classic inline-five sound? Despite having 263,700 miles on the odometer, the 2.5-liter I5 engine in this TL is in good running condition. The car is in excellent condition, with some clearcoat peeling noted. Although the anti-lock brake system is not functional, it works fine. The original 15-inch wheels are still present, but the interior has been customized with a custom steering wheel. The current bid for the auction is $2,700.

1993 Acura Legend L

Did you save the best for the last? Many Acura enthusiasts would agree that the Legend has lived up to its name for the past 30 years. This particular model has 115,300 miles. It still has the original 3.2-liter V6 engine and automatic transmission. The car comes with a thick stack of maintenance documents, which shows that the engine has been maintained as recently as January 2021. The car rides on 16-inch wheels sourced directly from a Legend LS and has a small lip spoiler in the trunk. The auction for this car closes March 17 and is currently at $3,500.
