Ram 1500 Build To Serve Edition: Final Models in Orange, White

Later in the year, the last of these military-themed trucks will be produced.

Ram will close the books on its Built to Serve Edition 1500 pickup truck series. The fifth and final installment, which will honor the five branches of America’s armed forces, will feature two striking colors: Spitfire or Bright White. Production is limited to 1,250 units.

The latest Built to Serve trucks, like previous models, feature the United States flags on the rear quarter panels. The series also features 20-inch aluminum wheels in gray. Inside, owners can customize their truck by adding patches to the velcro panels found on the front seats.

The seat backs are equipped with additional webbing to secure equipment. Contrasting stitching gives the truck an extra interior color. Orange is the contrasting color for the final run. The truck’s rest is standard-issue Ram 1550. The Built to Serve Edition can be purchased on any trim or style.

Ram announced the Built to Serve Edition trucks in 2019 and promised a limited production run. Each service was identified with two colors. New installments were planned to be released every three months. Ram’s most recent announcement states that production will reach 10,000. This is broken down into the following colors:

Mike Koval Jr. CEO of Ram Brand under Stellantis said, “We owe an enormous debt of gratitude to our Armed Forces and the brave men or women who serve them.” These ‘Built to Serve” models are one way we pay tribute to those who have given their lives for our country. Ram truck owners, military and civilian alike, are familiar with this saying. We strive to incorporate it into every truck or van we make.

The order banks for the last Built to Serve Edition trucks will be open in March. The models will be available in dealer showrooms during the second quarter 2021.
