Razorback is a Bigger and Badder Warthog Introduced by Halo

Master Chief got some new wheels.

Gamers around the globe were shocked to hear that the Xbox 360’s legacy servers for Halo games would be shut down at the end 2021. There are some things to look forward too, despite this sad outcome. Halo Infinite will soon be . 343 Industries released a preview of the replacement Warthog vehicle in the game’s upcoming .

This larger, more robust vehicle is known as the Razorback. It’s hard to match the power and vim of the Hog. However, the next-generation fast-attack vehicle seems to have larger tires and better protection for its occupants. We are aware, however, that it doesn’t yet have doors.

Although we have yet to see the vehicle in action, it is likely to carry many of the same tried-and-true features as the Warthog. It’s not fair to change features that are already strong enough to defeat the Covenant Empire multiple times. Master Chief’s ride or die game is set almost 500 years into the future. It still features a hydrogen-injected internal combustion motor, four-wheel steering, and all-wheel drive.

Although the Razorback is impressive, it’s unlikely that it can compete with its predecessor. 343 Industries decided that it was time to make a change, since the last Halo game was released in 2015. We’d bet that the UNSC will soon release a new attack vehicle to fill the gap. Few videogame vehicles have the same reputation as the Warthog.

Master Chief returns to the Xbox Series X/S in this new title, staged in a damaged Halo Ring. Infinite was originally scheduled to release for Xbox Series X/S in November 2020. However, it has been pushed back to 2021. Fans will be able to enjoy the Razorback’s graphics power with the next-generation Xbox consoles.
