A rare, one-of-2 yellow 1953/2003 Commemorative edition model will be rolling across the Mecum Auction stage in January. It is a 2016 build and houses a 5.7-liter LS6 LS6 V8 engine that produces 405 horsepower (302 kilowatt). It is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Bright chrome accents are highlighted on the retro-inspired grille, headlights and new grille in bright Millennium Yellow. To add some retro flair, chrome is used on bumpers, doors, and front fenders.

The interior features a black-and-yellow interior and a few other custom touches like embroideries and badges. It’s otherwise a standard C5 Corvette interior. Memory leather seats, power windows and locks, power mirrors, dual-zone climate control, and a Delco Bose stereo system are all standard features. You shouldn’t expect the most advanced technologies and features. The Chevy also includes chrome wheels, yellow brakes calipers and Bridgestone Potenza tires

The 2003 Chevy Corvette AAT 1953/2003 commemorative Edition will be on the auction block at Mecum Auctions’ Kissimmee. It starts January 5. This car is part of the Jerry Brewis Estate Collection. It has 17,677 miles (28.448 kilometers) as shown in the one-photo photo. It has no reserve to prevent it from being sold. The retro-inspired styling might not be everyone’s cup of tea but the end result is truly unique.
