Rolls-Royce Phantom Tempus Looks To Pulsar Stars For A Timeless Design

Rolls releases the in-dash clock.

Rolls-Royce offers a variety of bespoke, limited-run offerings. The company’s latest design aims to create timeless designs. They often have a common theme and add unique touches both inside and outside. The Rolls Royce Phantom Tempus Collection is the name of the new design. It looks up to the sky for inspiration, specifically pulsar star patterns, time and the entire universe. This theme is nebulous and focuses on time. It deliberately discards the in-dash clock to create a custom dashboard.

The Frozen Flow of Time Gallery dashboard is a single billet of aluminum that has been black anodized and then hand-polished. It features 100 columns. The dash’s reflective light gives it a ripple effect and flex, despite being a solid structure. The company has reimagined the Starlight Headliner. It consists of fiberoptic lighting and an intricate, bespoke embroidery pattern. The interior doors have a star-shaped pattern. Rolls made it with hundreds upon hundreds of illuminated perforations.

The glove compartment has a plaque that describes the Gallery and also contains an Albert Einstein quote.

Rolls states that 20 of the 20 Phantom models it intends to build are already reserved for customers. This means you won’t have to go out and buy one. Customers will receive a personal Spirit of Ecstasy, which can be personalized with a date or a location of their choosing. Exterior features include a Kairos Blue finish with mica flakes. This paint is meant to imitate the starry night sky.
