The tuner reduces the front, but increases the aggressiveness at the back.
SARD, a Japanese company that specializes in Toyota tuning is now showing off parts in preparation for the new GR 86. The GT1 bodykit accentuates the exterior styling of the new coupe. The components are not yet available in terms of pricing and availability.
The front of the SARD kit’s front fascia (comparison is below) has a smaller opening at the center and gives it a trapezoidal form, rather than its rectangular inlet on the standard. Instead of the factory’s vertical design, the tuner adds triangular openings at the corners.
The SARD kit also adds a contrast section to the front of the fender for company branding. This version has a more angular appearance that stock, with the lower sills being more prominent and the tuner adding a diagonal crease to the rear end fender.

SARD replaces the stock ducktail spoiler at the other end with a small, carbon fiber-finished wing. The tuner replaces taillights that are equipped with circular lamps by replacing them with parts that include circular lamps.
SARD is currently developing an exhaust system to fit the new GR 86. They are similar to the stock vehicle’s circular outlets, but have a greater diameter and extend further from the bumper.
There aren’t many modifications inside. SARD re-upholsters these seats in two-tone black and Alcantara. The tuner’s branding is on the seatbelt pads.
SARD does not mention any updates below the hood. However, other tuners are already working on this area. HKS, for example, is developing a supercharger kit to fit the new 2.4-liter flat four engine. The company has not yet disclosed the increased power output.
