Would you consider a three-row Evoque for your vehicle?
Land Rover might be busy testing the next-generation Range Rover but that doesn’t mean the British brand hasn’t put in a lot of effort to the smallest model, the Range Rover Evoque.
According to reports, the Evoque’s engine will undergo a major overhaul in January. Land Rover seems to be continuing with the development of the crossover. The Evoque will be available in seven-seat versions, as shown by these spy photos
The longer body of the Evoque prototype is due to the wider wheelbase that allows for two additional passengers.
Although it is not clear if the seven-seat Range Rover Evoque will be available in the U.S. or European markets, Russia and China are viable options to sell the three row Evoque. We all know that the Chinese market prefers larger and longer vehicles, so automakers are more likely to meet the demand.
The Evoque’s body is longer, but the design elements of the Evoque are unaffected by the new engine options. We knew this from earlier this year that the Range Rover Evoque will get three-cylinder, PHEV versions, branded as P300e.
This PHEV system’s core is a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine. It produces 197 horsepower (147kilowatts) and is supported by an electric motor of 107 horsepower (80kW) mounted on the rear axle. A 15kWh lithium-ion batteries powers it. According to the Evoque P300e, it has an all-electric range that covers 41 miles (66 km).
