It is ready to get in the water.
The Ford Bronco doesn’t need accessories. But what if you just want to buy one already fitted with all the cool stuff? This is the basic idea behind the Ford Bronco Everglades. It was announced in October 2021, but has not been revealed. We see the Everglades prototype in a simple camouflage cover in new spy photos.
These images actually capture the exact same prototype Last week, we were able to see Through Bronco Nation. This time, however, we have 20 high resolution photos that provide a better look at Everglades-specific components. The snorkel for the engine is easily visible, and it’s mounted on the A-pillar at the passenger side. There are many aftermarket options, but it is more professional to have something done at the factory.
What makes the Bronco an Everglades-model Bronco? The factory will equip it with a standard-issue bumper mounted Warn winch and special 17-inch wheels with 35 inch tires. We also have a look at the fender flares, which are unique to the Everglades. They will be slightly narrower and slightly different from those in the Sasquatch package. There are no other visible changes to the camouflage wrap, such as the sides, rear, or hood.
We don’t yet have any information on the powertrain options. The Everglades will be offered by Ford with either the EcoBoost V6 or four-cylinder engines. One wild card is a Bronco Raptor Fusion with a higher output engine than the standard trims, but still not Raptor-strong. The Bronco Raptor has not been revealed, so it’s speculation.
The Bronco Everglades is on the horizon, we know. The Bronco Everglades is expected to debut in spring 2022, and production will begin in the summer. This means that the Bronco Everglades model will be available to dealers in 2023.
