It is better to have less than you think.

Modifying the design of Aston Martins is a delicate task. They are undoubtedly some of the most stunning cars in the world. It could be detrimental to the beautiful lines created by Gaydon’s talented people. But Startech is able to manage the beauty of the DB11.

Startech, a sister company to Brabus, introduced an upgrade package for its V8-powered DB11 back March 2018. Now YouTube star Shemee150 released a detailed video of the grand tourer. The extended film was shot at Brabus’ headquarters, Bottrop, Germany. It shows the British GT and its many copper accents.

Despite the fact that there have been many changes, Startech They are all subtle and help maintain the DB11’s appearance while letting people know that it is a little more special than the regular model. The AMG-powered coupe’s beautiful bodywork is enhanced by subtle carbon fiber accents. A dual pair of dark chrome exhaust pipes from an angrier custom exhaust system flank the diffuser at the rear with its F1-esque fog lamp.

Brabus is an expert on AMG’s twin-turbo 4.0 liter V8. This is why Startech’s package to the DB11 includes a power boost. The car now has 601 horsepower (448 kW) with 125 Newton-meters (92-pound-feet of torque) thanks to a remapped ECU.

This V8 version is closer to the meaner 630 hp, 700 Nm (516 lbft) AMR. While it may have fewer horsepower, it does have a lot of torque. The V8 standard version weighs in at 115 kg (253 pounds), which is less than the V12 and makes it more agile.

The DB11 was not designed to break Nurburgring records. It was built as a GT first and foremost. This is why Tim Burton, a.k.a. Shmee150 took the car to the Autobahn as well as some other country roads where it shines.
