Although it’s not as common as cars from decades past, steel wheels are still a strong indicator of a base model’s status. Steel wheels aren’t the most attractive, and they can be expensive. However, steel wheels outperform alloys in terms of durability. This makes them ideal for vehicles that do a lot of driving. Ford Authority took a few photos of the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport sporting steelies at all four corners. There’s so much more to the Bronco lineup.
The 2021 Ford Bronco will be available in a month after it was delayed and missed the spring deadline. However, Ford has not stopped them from taking their mules to work with new goodies. Besides the obvious steel wheels, anyone with sharp eyes would have seen that the Bronco was also wearing different tires. According to Ford Authority sources, the new rubber set and steel wheel are available in a trim called “Badlands”. According to Ford Authority’s sources, the tire was identified as Falken Wildpeak A/T. This is a tire that offers all-weather capability and on-road comfort. They also have a USTMA Severe snow rating.

The Ford Bronco Sport is a rugged crossover that can handle daily tasks as well as more adventurous pursuits. However, it has a retro look and will appeal to those who are looking for something more modern and boxier.
Ford’s 2021 Ford Bronco Sport will come with either a 1.5-liter EcoBoost three cylinder engine or a 2.0 liter EcoBoost four-banger. Both are expected to be equipped with Ford’s 8-speed auto. According to Ford Authority the Badlands will be fifth trim available at launch. The other options are the base variant, Big Bend and Outer Banks as well as the First Edition.
