It is possible that we will see the full debut of the film before the end.
New teaser videos give a better view of the Subaru Solterra, which is the brand’s first EV. The clip shows glimpses of the crossover’s front and back, as well as the Solterra from the side.
The video mixes images of Solterra with nature shots like birds chirping or wind blowing through grass. In the teaser, we saw the same side view of the EV. Next is a fantastic shot of the rear, which includes two distinct spoilers as well as an angular shape to the taillights. The front view shows four square-shaped LED projectors.
The video also includes scenes of Solterra on the move. The EVs are too far away from the camera that it’s hard to see much.
The video uses the image of the cabin in the previous teaser. The interior features a cluster of digital instruments that is high up and away from the steering wheel. The console has a touchpad and an infotainment screen in the middle stack.
The Solterra is Subaru’s version of the Toyota BZ4X hybrid electric crossover. They share a similar design with minor differences at the back and front. The cabins appear to be identical.
The powertrain information for each model is not available. All-wheel drive is available on the Solterra, which suggests a two-motor arrangement. Details about the battery and range are not yet available.
The Solterra will be available for purchase in 2022, as a product of the 2023 model year. Subie may be planning a full launch soon, considering the teasers. Toyota intends to reveal the BZ4X in early 2020 and make the EV available for purchase by mid-2022.
