The build is beautiful, so don’t listen to the purists.
The Subaru WRX, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution are two of the most popular performance cars in the early 2000s. They were popular among rally-inspired enthusiasts in North America. The custom creation, which grafts a Lancer Evolution 9’s nose onto a 2005 Subaru WRX, is likely to annoy some of the models’ most dedicated fans. The result is an automotive Frankenstein’s monster, which looks great.
“I wanted to create a car with a unique front end, something no one has done before in this particular generation. The biggest rivalry is Aka. “So I bought the Evo frontend first before the Subaru car,” Jonah, a builder, told Motor1.com.
Shoodbgood is an excellent automotive plastic surgeon, making the Evo 9’s nose look just like it does on the WRX. Although the body lines are very close, he says that there is still a lot of bodywork, welding and cutting involved. This creation could be shown to someone who is unfamiliar with the model. They might assume it is factory styling.
It also features a wrap. Shoodbgood claims in a video that the body is Mazda’s Soul Red.
Under the hood is the WRX engine. Modifications to the powerplant include an HKS blow-off valve, 1,000-cc fuel injectors and a td06 20g turbo-downpipe. It rides on a set BC coilovers.
Shoodbgood just had it tuned by a shop. Shoodbgood projects a power output of 300-320 horsepower (224-239 kilowatts) at its wheels.
He mentions adding overfenders to the vehicle in the video he takes when he picks it up. The Evo’s boxy flares at the front would be balanced by something at the rear.
This guy is a front-end swapper. A Nissan 350Z with Infiniti G37 nose, a Infiniti G sedan and a 350Z face on an Infiniti G37 four-door, as well as a 370Z nose on a G37 four door. He’s now looking for a Mitsubishi-Subaru mashup.
