The Base Camp is also known as the Camp. It’s the tallest pop-top camper that we have ever seen. This makes it a spacious living space. It can fit any pickup truck and can sleep up to two people.
The aluminum frame of the Base Campe makes it light at 400 lbs. Its electronically-controlled scissor lift opens up to 6 feet and 5 inches of interior headroom, while the camper itself measures 112 inches in length. According to Hower Built, the pop-top camper comes in two sizes: standard and XL. They can be fitted to any pickup truck. This pop-top camper is a great addition to your truck if you enjoy offroad adventures, and want to spend the night in your vehicle.
The Base Camp can hold a 3-inch-long queen-size mattress. The pop-top roof can be removed to reveal a 6-inch cavity. This allows blankets and pillows to stay on top of the bed. Composite panels are also used with the aluminum frame, specifically ABS baffled pour. This has an R5 insulation rating.
The Base Camp comes with all the space and materials mentioned, plus eight LED ceiling lights with dimming, multiple USB ports, 12V sockets, and a 100-hour lithium battery. You can also use it as an off-grid alternative by having solar panels pre-wired.
The base camp is priced at $14,000. Prices can rise depending on what features or requests customers have. The minimum deposit required by the company is $1,000. Delivery is expected to take place in Spring 2022.
