Tesla Model 2 Rendered Imagine Brand’s Tiny Upcoming EV

It could cost as low as $25,000.

Tesla is developing a compact EV at a price of only $25,000. Kolesa now has some renderings of the front and back of the tiny model.

Kolesa sees the vehicle as a hatchback-shaped egg. The Model 3’s styling is reflected in the front. The roofline is arched. There are flush handles on the doors at the sides. The rear has Y-shaped taillights that are under the rear glass. There’s also an angular design for the hatchback. This rendering is a little too conservative for Tesla’s minimalist standards.

The details about the smaller Tesla are scarce. It is possible that the Model 2 might not be called the Model 2, according to some information. Model Q is an alternative name.

Musk wants production to start in 2023. He’s also reportedly contemplating whether or not the vehicle should have steering wheels and pedals. Given the current state in autonomous driving technology, this seems very optimistic.

Because the Tesla’s tiny battery cell would use the company’s next-generation battery cells and use a simplified battery manufacturing process, the low price is possible. This could reduce costs up to half.

Even rumours abound that Tesla has a prototype for the compact EV in China. According to reports, the car’s development is being led by the company’s division in China. Musk’s 2023 launch goal of launching the first test vehicle could be met by production starting in 2021.

The Model 3 is currently being built at Tesla’s Gigafactory 3 facility in China. Musk revealed plans to create and manufacture a vehicle in China, and then sell it around the world during the opening ceremony. even accepted designs from everyone, regardless of whether they were in or out of the automotive industry.
