The 1993 Toyota Hilux Motorhome is Ready for Rugged Camping Trips

The cockpit features a red, velour floral print with brown shag carpeting and a cockpit.

OttoEx has created a niche by bringing Japanese campers to the United States. This video highlights the beauty of a 1993 Toyota Hilux Global Galaxy motorhome.

This attractive, two-tone combination is cream white and light blue. It features a solid front axle as well as dual wheels at its rear. The motorhome measures 18 feet (5.48 m) in length. It is slightly smaller than the 2021 Ford F-150, which has a 6.5-foot bed. This makes it easy to maneuver.

The engine is Toyota’s four-cylinder, naturally aspirated diesel engine. It’s internally designated 3L. The factory rating is 90 horsepower (67kilowatts) with 139 pound-feet of torque (188 Newton-meters). It comes with a 5-speed manual transmission and a four-wheel drive.

The interior is a stunning place to be. Red velour upholstery is used on the door panels and seat cushions. The floral pattern is found on the seats. The floor is covered with brown shag carpet. OttoEx claims that this unusual combination was the original factory setup. As the backup camera display, a double-DIN display is used.

The original backup cam screen is a tiny CRT located between the front seats. The CRT still works but does not show any information. It is up to the new owner to find a purpose for this little monitor.

Although the rear is small, it appears to be very functional. The cab has a bed above it. The table and bench can be converted into a full-width bed. The back has a kitchenette, but it is currently lacking a stovetop. A large shower is also available, with a view out to the outside world. Although the motorhome does not have a full bathroom there is plenty of room to store a cassette toilet.

There’s bad news for those who want to buy this Toyota camper. OttoEx’s website indicates that it has an buyer.
