Jeep is having a game with its small crossover by spotting the changes.
Jeep has only shared two images. The mildly redesigned 2019 Renegade made its debut at this week’s Torino Motor Show, in the stunning Valentino Park. We’re talking about the European version, but the American counterpart will likely feature similar styling tweaks.
So, what’s changed? The headlights now have a modern appearance and the front bumper has a new lower fascia. See the photo comparison below. The side lights on the front fenders have been changed to white from orange. This is likely to match the new headlights. The images we have shared are of the Limited trim. Lower-spec versions will not be as beautiful.
The taillights, which are located at the rear, have been given a makeover. Only the center of the cluster has been made white and the extensions, which form an “X”, are now in red. The taillight is also updated with a modern look that makes the Renegade crossover look more modern. The only thing that has changed is the taillight, as all else looks the same.
The 2019 Renegade’s interior is not yet available (see spy photos of the cabin). We will need to wait until the second half the month to find out everything about the mid-cycle refresh. The updated crossover will come with a new three-cylinder engine of 1.0-liter that produces 120 horsepower. A larger four-cylinder engine of 1.3-liter will produce 150 hp or 180 hp.
