It is still a good alternative to the Taycan.
Porsche, a luxury brand owned by the Volkswagen Group, is not the only one that’s attempting to enter the high-performance electric car segment. Audi, a brand known for its high-performance wagons, Quattro all-wheel-drivetrain and Audi RS E-Tron GT is also available for order.
The 2022 Audi RS E-Tron GT configurator has now been up. Let’s take a look to see the most expensive build possible with the Porsche Taycan sibling – in case you are looking to spend more on a German EV.
The E-Tron GT is priced at $99,900. However, the top-spec RS trim starts at $139,900. The Year One package costs an extra $20,350 and includes 21-inch, five-spoke concept car design wheels with carbon ceramic brakes with red calipers. Black badges and Audi rings are included. You also get the distinction that you deserve, including the HD Matrix-design LED headerlights with Audi animation and laser light.
The Ibis White paint color will not be subject to an additional premium. However, you can go for other colors like Ascari Blue Metallic or Florett silver Metallic, Kemora Gray Metallic and Mythos Black Metallic. You will have to pay $595 for these other colors.
You can choose an Audi exclusive paint color (not shown in these images), but it will cost you $3,900 more. However, this will get you a customized RS E-Tron GT.
The Year One package includes an RS three-spoke heated flat-bottom multifunction steering wheel with perforated flat-bottom. This works in conjunction to the RS 18 way power front sport seats and 4-way power lumbar. The Nappa leather seats with honeycomb stitching and perforations in Nappa are equipped with ventilation and massage functions.
Inlays of matte carbon atlas are also included, as well as a Dinamica headliner, RS interior design package, which employs red stitching and RS floor mats and red seatbelts to the cabin.
The Porsche Taycan’s powertrain is also included in the RS E-Tron GT. It has a 93.4-kilowatt-hour Li-ion battery pack and an 800-volt electrical architecture that allows for rapid recharging. The total output is 590 horsepower (440kilowatts) with 612 pound-feet (830 Nms) from the electric motors on each axle.
The most expensive 2022 Audi E-Tron GT costs $164,150, which includes $24,250 in optional equipment. This price does not include the $1,045 destination fee.
