The Auction of the One-Millionth Toyota Tacoma will Take Place in August

It looks as fresh as it did when it rolled off the assembly lines in 2019.

Since 1995, Toyota began making the Tacoma. The one-millionth Tacoma was rolled off in Toyota’s San Antonio, Texas manufacturing plant on October 4, 2019.

The exact same Toyota Tacoma is listed as an attraction at the Mecum Auctions in august. This is your chance to be part of the American history of the pickup truck’s midsize size.

The specs of this Toyota Tacoma aren’t bad. The truck was built in TRD Pro and painted in Army Green. It has trim-exclusive features like its black 16-inch TRD alloy tires, a TRD Pro skidplate, an aggressive front fascia, Rigid Industries LED fo lights, and TRD-tuned Fox internal bypass suspension shock absorbers with 2.5 inch aluminum housings.

This unit has black leather upholstery and red contrast stitching inside. It also comes with all the modern Toyota in-cabin features.

The unit is fresh out of the factory with just 8 miles since new. Toyota will send a letter of congratulations to the lucky bidder in recognition of reaching the production milestone.

The engine is a 3.5-liter V6 with Atkinson Cycle. It produces 278 horsepower (207 Kilowatts) as well as 265 pound-feet (359 Newton meters) of torque. The Tacoma TRD Pro comes with a stick-shift model, but this one is equipped with a 6-speed auto.

If you are interested, mark your calendars because the one-millionth Toyota Tacoma will be on the auction block at Mecum Auctions in Monterey, August 12-14, 2021.
