The First 2021 Ford GT Studio Edition is Available in Black and Red All Over

It’s simply stunning.

Ford unveiled a new graphics package for its GT supercar in July. The automaker offered three samples of the customization option and then revealed that there were more.

Multimatic, the motorsport division of Ford, has revealed the first Ford GT Studio Collection customer car. It is a “super-exclusive and unrivalled collaboration between Ford Performance, Multimatic,” and it looks completely different to the other packages that were shown last summer.

This vehicle is a 2021 GT with black exterior and contrasting red stripes. The stripes are solid, rather than the transparent twin stripes on the standard GT of previous model years. A graphic is included that highlights the intakes at the mid-engine. The black finish on the side mirror caps is the same as the rest of car, as opposed to the original renderings’ contrasting colors.

Ford announced the customization options for the 2021 GT in its original announcement. It offered three color combinations: red, blue and white with contrasting stripes, mirror caps, and mirror caps. These are not the only options available, as this customer illustration confirms.

The GT supercar will be slightly more powerful for the 2021 model year. It features a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 660 horsepower (492kilowatts) in all trims. This is possible due to improved pistons and ignition coils as well as an engine calibration that creates a wider torque curve. The mechanical upgrades for the new model include larger intercoolers as well as a new Akrapovic Titanium exhaust system.
