The Ford Transit Camper Van is a compact, spacious van that packs a lot of features into its small space

This reconfigurable floor plan can accommodate up to nine people.

Camper vans are known for their versatility, even though they have limited space. Camper vans are often lacking more luxurious features like a shower. They only have the basic necessities like a stove or fridge. The Southvan Allrounder, which was unveiled at the Dusseldorf Caravan Show this year, tries to be all things to all people without sacrificing the number of sleeping places or passengers.

A Ford Transit Custom van can carry up to nine people and four sleeping bags, depending on its configuration. The rails system embedded into the floor makes the Allrounder versatile. It allows for the easy installation and removal. Southvan, a German company that installs seats, does not just install any seat. The seats are narrower than the vehicle which allows for storage. Standard features include a narrow rear bench seat, an additional jumper, and a three-row bench that can accommodate nine more people.

Although the bench is shorter than normal, the bed is wider than usual. However, the pop-up tent can sleep up to two additional people. The Allrounder’s flexibility is also evident in its swing-out kitchen that can be used both inside and outside. There are two options available. The top-tier offers a refrigerator, a portable power station and a sink. Although the unit is less expensive, it lacks outlets and a power station. However, the larger fridge is located beneath the counter.

Although the Southvan Allrounder is compact, there are always compromises. Although the rear seats may not be the most spacious, they are best suited to children and small adults. However, the van’s versatility makes it stand out. For a weekend getaway with the family, you can store your bike inside and sleep over it.
