A worthy sacrifice.
It is not easy to develop a road-legal supercar. This is especially true for small companies like the Connecticut-based Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus, who must comply with strict government regulations and keep their organization viable. Crash testing prototypes is a huge risk for a company with 25 vehicles in production.
Larry Kosilla, Ammo NYChas set a unique challenge for the Glickenhaus team. Larry will be testing detailing techniques and products before the prototype 004S goes to crash testing. Ammo NYC will participate in the final manufacturing of customer Glickenhaus004’s. Before being delivered to customers, every vehicle will go through the Ammo NYC Studio.
Glickenhaus offers a wide range of options to customers that allows them to customize their vehicles to their specifications. Exterior options such as paint or exposed carbon fiber are just a few of the many choices available. Clear bra applications can be either clear or matte, and come in a variety of finishes: matte, glossy, and matte. There are many options, which is why Larry Kosilla is so excited to work on the Glickenhaus 004S.
It is both frightening and beautiful to watch this 004S prototype come to life in order for others to be made. While Glickenhaus’ engineering team can run computer simulations to predict the impact of a crash, it is not the same as the actual thing. Glickenhaus will be able to deliver the best car for dozens of customers thanks to the information gained during Larry’s testing as well as the crash test.
