It was a truly sad moment when The Grand Tour’s third Season came to an end. The motoring trio Richard Hammond, James May and Jeremy Clarkson said goodbye to the studio audience format that has made them famous over nearly 20 years. The episode ended with the wise men, gentlemen and blokes pledging to continue their adventures. It’s almost here and the new trailer for it looks amazing.
The trailer clearly explains that The Grand Tour team is going to attempt crossing Vietnam’s Mekong delta. Although it sounds simple in theory, we need to remember that we are dealing with Clarkson and Hammond here. The trio will not be driving around in cars this time, but boats. The special title of this event is The Grand Tour Presents Seamen. While we don’t think it’s necessary to explain the double entendre, those who are confused will find that we’re still unable to answer your question. Trust us when we tell you that you won’t Google it.
What can we expect from this thrilling adventure? This trailer is almost two minutes long and shows men bickering, getting hit each other with water, hitting every object they come across, and getting hit by each others. They eventually get lost and lose their GPS. The boats will almost certainly not arrive at their destination looking the same as they left. This is your standard Clarkson Hammond-May tomfoolery.
We’ve missed these guys on TV so the trailer is welcome with open arms. We won’t be waiting long for the full program. It’s scheduled for a December 13 launch via Amazon Prime. This happens to be Friday. Is this a coincidence or a foreshadowing of the future?
