The Most Expensive 2022 Ford Maverick is $42,835

Many accessories are available at launch.

The 2022 Ford Maverick compact pickup is finally here. Prices start from $19,995 (plus $1,495 delivery charge), but it’s interesting to see how much higher the price can go once you start filling out every option box. This number comes out to $42,385, which is a substantial amount of money for upgrades.

The Maverick Lariat trim level is the most luxurious, and starts at $25,000. It comes with the 2.5-liter hybrid engine. The price goes up to $26,575 if you upgrade to the turbocharged 2.0-liter powertrain.

Five options packages are available for the Maverick. Buyers can choose either the $1,495 First Edition with black exterior accents, or the rugged $800FX4 Off-Road package, but not both.

The $3,340 Lariat Luxury package also comes with the Copilot360 driver assistance tech suite. The FX4 package can be added to the Maverick by selecting this option. The truck can also be equipped with the $745 4K Tow package, which allows for heavier hauling.

There are 11 exterior colors available for the Maverick, but Cyber Red is only available in the First Edition. You can also purchase a variety of accessories. You can purchase a $300 bed divider, $370 bed extender and $200 bed lighting. There is also a $280 toolbox which mounts to either the driver’s or passenger side.

These option packages give the buyer a two-tone interior in desert brown and black. The six-speaker stock setup is replaced by an eight-speaker B&O stereo.

There are many accessories, just like the exterior. There are three options: a $390 center console vault; $175 all-weather flooring mats; and a $150 110-volt/400 watt outlet.

The 2022 Maverick will be available in the United States this fall. If you look at Ford’s other trucks, you can expect to see a lot of special editions, extra trim levels, and other tweaks during the pickup’s life.
