Modern inside and out.
You should now know that the Motor1.com crew is a big fan of campers. This is especially true when building clever vehicles. We also love the nostalgia of classic vehicles like the vintage Volkswagen bus. Retro RV, an Australian company that builds these campers for entrepreneurs who are interested in opening a rental RV franchise, seems to be the same as others.
Retro RV was found on Facebook. It looks like they are just starting to get started in December 2020. There was a rush to order campers for future franchise owners, but COVID-19 halted that and the company lost its momentum. The light at the end the coronavirus tunnel finally showed, and those opportunities are now open to people in Australia and the United States.
Retro RV is using social media to show off its work. We are impressed by everything, from the traditional looks to the modern interiors to the construction process.
Retro RV is a name that can be used to describe a retro-connected business. It appears that these retro-inspired RVs were built from old VW buses, which are in poor condition. The entire camper was custom-built and can sleep two people, while offering ample space and a variety of amenities. Although we don’t know much about power and water capacity, the interior photos show a large living space with a sink and refrigerator and lots of storage.
The exterior retains the same classic glory as a vintage Volkswagen. They aren’t just restored – beneath it all is a modern Subaru engine and transmission with modern steering and brake components. The company is also working on a 4-person version of the camper.
Retro RV has already received 18 camper orders. We are also impressed by the number of comments left on their social media posts. We are eager to see what new designs Retro RV has in the pipeline.
