This Chevy Truck Boat was Driven To The Levee by Someone, but it wasn’t Dry

The Farmtruck looks a little different today.

This orange 1970 Chevrolet pick-up truck will be instantly recognized by fans of the TV show Street Outlaws. The Farmtruck is the most famous drag racing sleeper, though it’s not a regular sleeper. The truck and its owners Farmtruck, and AZN are well-known worldwide. This truck is a true race car underneath. It used to be.

Videos and photos began appearing on the internet a few days ago showing this truck on a trailer equipped with large pontoons under and a water jet drive out of the back. We are not joking when we say that video of the truck on the water surfaced. The best clip is probably this Rick Smith video on Facebook. He captured the action on a Oklahoma City lake. Friends, welcome to the Farmboat.

As if that wasn’t enough, ViralHog captured the Farmboat at an Illinois racing event in Antioch a few days later. This video can be viewed in the video at top of the article. Farmtruck and AZN made the decision to make their not-so secret build public by driving a vintage Chevy truck across a lake on pontoons.

Even though the truck has been revealed, there are still many secrets. It will be featured on a Discovery TV show about Farmtruck and AZN. Details are being kept for that program. The truck is mounted on a pontoon platform and the huge Chevrolet V8 engine behind it powers a water jet drive. This truck is basically a tube frame with pontoons on top. It’s also covered in Chevy body panels. This suggests that this is not the original Farmtruck mounted on a boat, but a brand new machine.

The Discovery TV series will feature all details about the construction and new adventures of Farmboat. It will air soon.
