This Chrome Gold McLaren Senna Tour London Night Watch

This is a bold statement.

This month marks four years since McLaren launched the Senna supercar. It was boldly designed, had a lot of horsepower and came with a $1 million price tag. Even though it has been finished in chrome gold, it still looks amazing in 2021. The reflective car was seen on the streets of London in a new video by TheTFJJ.

The video shows the car in action as it moves through London’s stop-and go traffic. There are plenty of opportunities for the camera to capture its distinctive exhaust note. The engine under the hood is a t winturbocharged, 4.0-liter V8 that produces 789 horsepower (588kW) and 590 poundfeet (801 Newton-meters). McLaren modified it to produce more power in the Senna’s 85-kilogram (187-pounder) version.

Unfortunately, London’s busy streets prevent the McLaren reaching exciting speeds. However, the few blips that occur send the loud exhaust note echoing through quiet streets. One time, the driver gave the Senna some gas and jostled the rear tires for traction. However, it was too slow to get far. Although the interior isn’t as extravagant or as richly decorated as the exterior, the video shows it.

The McLaren Senna was introduced in 2001. It has since been followed by the Senna GTR. However, it is not known what the future holds for the Ultimate series supercar model. The supercar was capable of hitting speeds of 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.8 seconds. It also rocketed to speeds of 211 mph (354 kph). However, London didn’t allow it to display all its power. It’s best to save that power for the race track, where there are less people and less chance of a crash.
