GAD Motors, a German tuning company known for high-powered creations, is responsible for this sleeper. The original V-Class was powered by a 190-horsepower (142-kilowatts) diesel engine. GAD saw an opportunity for a twin-turbo, 4.0-liter V8 to be fitted in the engine bay. However, it didn’t quite fit.
The German tuner created a modified GAD engine to solve the problem. This resulted in the M177. This is the exact same mill that powers the luxury passenger van .
The best part is that the V-Class’s interior was not altered so the driver and passengers can comfortably cruise on the unrestricted sections.
