Toyota Camry, Highlander Nightshade Debut Dark Look In L.A.

Both models have matching wheels and black trim.

Toyota will offer dark-trimmed Nightshade Special Editions in the 2019 Camry, and Highlander to customers who want to add some style to their vehicle. These more fashionable models will be unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show, and will be available for purchase in 2019.

Nightshade Package is available on the SE mid-range Camry. This package adds black parts to the rear spoiler and window moldings, mirror caps as well as badges. A set of 18-inch black wheels is also available for the sedan. These dark accents can be ordered over Midnight Black Metallic or Celestial Silver exterior paint.

Similar tweaks apply to the Highlander Nightshade. The package is available on the SE trim level, just like the Camry. The black trim surrounds the foglights and headlights as well as the antenna, door handles and mirror caps. The SUV is mounted on black 19-inch wheels and matching lug nuts. Midnight Black Metallic models will have the dark trim available. Toyota will produce only 5,000 Highlanders with the Nightshade package. Toyota first Introduced the Nightshade Edition to the 4Runner, Tacoma and Tundra This model was made a few months back. The Camry and Highlander had earlier models that received black trim. Even the 4Runner had a dark chrome grille.

Toyota’s Lexus luxury segment follows a similar theme at L.A. Auto Show , where the LX Inspiration Series was introduced (gallery above). The SUV is outfitted with a special Black Onyx exterior and a matching set 21-inch wheels. Black trim is used on the window surrounds, headlights and taillights. The grille surround is dark chrome. You can mix it up with Moonlight White semianiline leather for the seats and black parts for the center console, headliner, carpets, cargo mats, key gloves, and the headliner.
