Toyota GR Supra GT4 by Traxxas Features Oil-Filled Shock Absorbers

This is a exact replica of the original car’s race tires.

Toyota launched the race-ready Supra GT4 just in time to compete in the 2020 motorsport season. The 3.0-liter BMW-sourced engine powers the race car, which produces 429 horsepower (320kilowatts) as well as 479 pound-feet (475 Newton-meters). You don’t have to deal with that much power. There’s an easier and more affordable alternative. Literally.

Traxxas presents the GR Supra GT4, the latest addition in its line of performance-oriented scale models. This 1:10 scale replica of the race car is made with incredible attention to detail. It’s based on a longer and modified version of the Traxxas 4-Tec 3.0 chassis. It also features extremely detailed suspension and steering systems.

This race car toy is ready for any weather conditions because it borrows many parts from other Traxxas models. O-rings are used to protect the waterproof steering servo in wet conditions. The battery and electronics are connected with strong connectors, so it doesn’t matter if it rains. The toy rides are on a double link suspension with oil-filled shocks.

The wheels are a exact replica of the Supra GT4’s race wheels. Traxxas claims that the tires are the same width at both axles. This makes steering more predictable and provides better grip in corners.

You can see the gallery above, which includes some studio shots and track photos of the 1/10 scale model. There are also several shots that show what is happening underneath the skin. Traxxas also released a promotional video ( at the top). If you’d like to order a Supra GT4 racecar, it will cost $349.99.
