The Toyota Land Cruiser 70th anniversary edition celebrates seven years of this iconic off-roader. It is based on 70 Series of the SUV. Some markets may still have it.
They will only 600 of these pickups go to Australia beginning in September 2021. For $82,600 AUD, there will be 320 double-cab pickups. Toyota will sell 200 single-cab pickup trucks at $80,050 AUD and 80 wagons for $78,500. Customers can choose from French Vanilla, Merlot Rouge, or Sandy Taupe colors.
The 70th Anniversary edition begins with the GXL trim, which is the most powerful version of the Land Cruiser 70 Series. The grille is black with large Toyota letters dominating it. Black is also used for the lower fascia, headlight bezels and fender flares. LED lamps are used for the foglights and daytime running lights. These models are mounted on 16-inch dark-colored wheels.
The 70th Anniversary edition features black leather upholstery on the seats. The steering wheel and gearshift are covered in matching leather. The dashboard and top of your steering wheel are decorated with a faux wood panel. The air vents have silver accents
A plaque with the Land Cruiser logo is found on the center console. Two cupholders and a pair of USB ports are available.
The 4.5-liter turbodiesel V8 engine that powers all 70th anniversary edition Land Cruisers produces 203 horsepower (151 Kilowatts) as well as 317 pound-feet (327 Newton-meters). There is only one gearbox option: a 5-speed manual, front and rear differential locks, and a 5-speed manual.
