Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 70th anniversary Edition has Style in Japan

Saddle Tongue light brown leather is used in the cabin.

The Toyota Land Cruiser has been around for 70 years. A new model is on the horizon. The company launched a 70th Anniversary edition for the Land Cruiser Prado in Japan to celebrate the model’s birthday.

The Land Cruiser Prado is very similar to the Lexus GX that’s available in the United States. This vehicle was designed to be smaller and less rugged than the full-sized Land Cruiser. Although not as rugged, the Prado is still capable of handling most off-road situations that a normal driver would encounter.

The Prado 70th Anniversary Limited Edition includes all the luxury-focused L Package amenities. This special model includes black parts for the grille uprights and the headlight trim, fog lights surrounds, roof rails and rear hatch trim. The 18-inch wheels are 12 spokes and have a black finish.

Saddle Tongue light-brown leather upholstery covers the center console, seats, and door panels. The dashboard’s passenger side features a silver-colored trim with a brushed finish.

Limited Edition of the Prado 70th Anniversary Limited Edition is available in White Pearl Crystal and Black, Attitude Black Mica and Red Mica. Buyers have the option of choosing between five- and seven-seat configurations. There are two gasoline engines available: a 2.7-liter and a diesel engine of 2.8-liters.

You have a few options. Buyers will receive a badge commemorating the 70th anniversary and floor mats featuring the logo.

At current exchange rates, the Prado 70th anniversary Limited edition is priced at 4.29 million Japanese yen (or $38,912 for the five-seat, gas-powered model). The most expensive is the seven-seat diesel at 5.118 million Japanese yen ($46.423). The base price for a Land Cruiser Prado in Japan costs 3.666 million Yuan ($33,255).

The new generation of rugged SUVs debuts June 9.
