Tuner builds a Toyota Land Cruiser that’s tough enough for off-road adventures

You’ll find a large brush bar, many skid plates and upgraded suspension components.

TJM, an Australian company, sells a lot of off-road gear for trucks. The company is showing a new suite of parts for its Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series, which makes this already rugged rig more capable off-road.

A chunky, steel brushbar protects the front bumper as well as the headlights. TJM points out that the design does not affect airflow to either the engine or intercoolers, and it is compatible with Land Cruiser’s exterior sensors. The LED fog lights are integrated into the turn signals and have built-in turn indicators. These photos show the large spotlights attached to the middle section.

TJM also offers an extra layer of protection that attaches directly to the brushbar and protects your front fender. It can also be connected to the side steps.

Exterior modifications include a snorkel at the A-pillar to improve breathing in dusty conditions and while fording streams.

Off-roading can be dangerous because you could damage the underbody components or cause them to become damaged by hitting rocks or other hazards. These pieces can be protected by TJM’s full range of skid plates.

The company also upgraded its suspension components. These pieces include twin-tube shock absorbers with Multi-Stage Velocity Controlled Valving. Upgraded upper control arms are also available. These photos show the Land Cruiser with a lift of 1.97 inches (50 millimeters).

TJM shows off additional accessories on this Land Cruiser 300. The SUV features a roof rack and LED light bars at its front. The top features a shovel and recovery boards. On one side, there is an awning that appears to be extended.

TJM intends to offer these parts starting in 2022. Although pricing is not yet available, the company has a form that allows people to register their interest for the components.

Land Cruiser Series 300 remains a relatively new product. As the SUV becomes more popular, expect to see increased aftermarket support.
