One has a strange opening in the front end fender.
The Ferrari Purosangue will be available next year. This will give the supercar manufacturer a practical model to add to its range. Although the model has four doors and a large interior, it feels contradictory to the company. However, the new model will be Ferrari and keep it low and agile. A new Varryx video shows two Purosangue SUVs testing together. One has an odd opening for a fender.
Two Purosangues are seen pulling into what appears to be a testing facility in the new video. The full-body camouflage wrap covers the modified Maserati Levante bodies. However, one test vehicle is seen with its fender door open. It is located behind the driver’s front wheel. We have not seen one on the passenger’s. It exposes a little bit of metal, possibly from the production body, and a hole in the vehicle.
The new Purosangue will be riding on a front-engine architecture that has been redesigned. This will allow it to take a wide range of powertrains. Although we expect Ferrari to include a V12 under its hood, the company said that there will be other powertrains, including one with an electric motor. The SUV will be able to support four-wheel drive, variable ground clearance, as well as a transaxle dual clutch transmission.
As we get closer to the launch of the car, Ferrari will begin to convert the test cars to their production body panels. The 2023 model will be available for purchase, and the Purosangue will be unveiled by Ferrari sometime next year. The company has not yet indicated when. The company will be able to offer an SUV-like model with the new model, which will compete with the Lamborghini Urus and Bentley Bentayga.
