Take a look at the final version of the NSX.
Acura’s 2022 Acura NXX Type S is the final iteration in the second-generation sportscar. The new supercar was unveiled at Monterey Car Week. Motor1.com‘s Director of Video, Clint Simone was able to see the car up close.
Acura made several design changes to distinguish the Type S from other /NSX
runs, including a new nose, and other tweaks like the Black Acura badge at the nose – which is a first for Acura. Acura made some cosmetic changes to the powertrain. A twin-turbocharged, 3.5-liter V6 was paired with three electrical motors to produce 600 horsepower (447 Kilowatts) as well as 492 pound-feet (667 Nm) of torque. This is a slight increase from the regular NSX’s 573 hp (427 kW), and 476 lbft (645 Nm), of torque.
Order books are now open and prices start at $169,000. The car looks very similar at first glance. But, this changes when you look closer. You can see the entire video to see the modifications Acura made to give the second generation NSX a proper send off.
