Volkner estimates that the Performance S motorhome will retail at EUR2,035,000 (or $2,4 million at current exchange rates). The exterior is a eggplant purple color. When the vehicle is stationary, a slide-out wall provides additional space. The roof has solar panels and the total battery capacity is 1,800 amp-hours.
Hydraulically, the under-vehicle storage area is created. The car is driven onto the platform by the owner, which then slides underneath. There are no tie-downs. Volkner describes this as being able to haul a second vehicle with no trailer.
It features a Burmester stereo system that costs EUR300,000. Another nice feature is the power-rising storage for cups and plates. By motorhome standards, the shower is huge. The cabin has white upholstery and BrilliantBlack wood veneer.
You will find a fully equipped kitchen just like in your home. The kitchen includes an oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. A wine cabinet is also available from the company.
The Performance is 12 meters long (39.37 feet). Freshwater tanks can be purchased with capacities ranging from 750 to 1,000 liters (198.1 – 264.2 gallons). A Volvo engine producing 454 horsepower (338 Kilowatts) and a Mercedes engine with 424 HP (316 kW) provide the power. They can be connected to an automatic transmission.
If you have the funds, this is the best way to go long distance. You can also rent a supercar once you get to your destination for an exciting outing.
