Sand stops the T-Rex.

Matt’s Off Road Recovery has returned with three vehicles for rescue, including a stuck RAM TRX. Can-Am Mavericks and Mazda3 also need to be saved.

The RAM TRX is buried in the sand. Matt needs a Corvair-wagon-shaped offroader to free the pickup. It’s not too difficult. One tug can unstick the Ram. Matt gives the owner a T-shirt and he is extremely grateful.

This clip doesn’t make the TRX a bad off-roader. This truck seems unmodified because of the soft sand. A few new tires could be a huge help.

With its Hellcat supercharged 6.2-liter V8 producing 702 horsepower (523 Kilowatts) as well as 650 pound-feet (881 Newton-meters), the TRX has plenty of power An eight-speed automatic, part-time four wheel-drive system, an upgraded transfer case and Dana 60 solid rear end with electronic locking comprise the drivetrain.

Bilstein Blackhawk E2 adaptive springs with remote reservoirs make up the suspension. The springs provide 13.0 inches of front suspension travel, and 14.0 inches back. Ground clearance is 11.8 inches.

It is more difficult to remove the Can-Am Maverick. The owner becomes stuck rock crawling and it takes the team a while to locate the machine. The crew frees the vehicle and moves it side-by-side in a more open area. The owner is apparently having to help the vehicle free for the third time.

Another easy job awaits you. The Mazda3 is barely able to get away from the lake’s shore. To pull the sedan, the Corvair off-roader doesn’t even have to put it into four-wheel drive. Matt performs the task for free and even throws in a shirt because the car’s original owner is on a cross-country camping trip.
